Requirements: Should be able to lift boxes of fruit from the stock into a cart which you will use to transport fruit to refreshment stations. May want to bring a lawn chair. There will be some wait times.

The Range Officer is responsible for timing and insuring safety during the match. This position is also responsible for signaling the Target Crew when it is safe to go downrange for a target change. The Range Officer will call competitors to the bench line sufficiently in advance of giving the commence fire command in order to allow rests and other equipment to be set and adjusted. Before the first match of the day, and on each relay, the Range Officer will explain the procedure that is in use at the Range to start and stop a match, including the procedures to be followed in case of an emergency cease-fire. If an emergency cease-fire is called, the reason for such should be corrected, and then the match restarted with an additional three minutes added to the remaining time (if less than three minutes have elapsed before the emergency cease-fire, the clock should be reset to the original time duration).

Requirements: Familiarization with Shooting Handgun rules.

Swimming Stopwatch Timers
The timer will use stopwatches to record start and end race times. Accuracy is critical. There are two timers each on lane (8 lanes total). Both times will be recorded and submitted to the Head Timer. This position includes standing, sitting, and bending. Timers must be able to physically assist athletes into their start positions, if needed. You might occasionally get splashed - bring a towel and non-slip shoes.

The Range Officer is responsible for timing and insuring safety during the match. This position is also responsible for signaling the Target Crew when it is safe to go downrange for a target change. The Range Officer will call competitors to the bench line sufficiently in advance of giving the commence fire command in order to allow rests and other equipment to be set and adjusted. Before the first match of the day, and on each relay, the Range Officer will explain the procedure that is in use at the Range to start and stop a match, including the procedures to be followed in case of an emergency cease-fire. If an emergency cease-fire is called, the reason for such should be corrected, and then the match restarted with an additional three minutes added to the remaining time (if less than three minutes have elapsed before the emergency cease-fire, the clock should be reset to the original time duration).

Shooting Benchrest: Chief Range Safety Officer/Match Director
The Range Officer is responsible for timing and insuring safety during the match. This position is also responsible for signaling the Target Crew when it is safe to go downrange for a target change. The Range Officer will call competitors to the bench line sufficiently in advance of giving the commence fire command in order to allow rests and other equipment to be set and adjusted. Before the first match of the day, and on each relay, the Range Officer will explain the procedure that is in use at the Range to start and stop a match, including the procedures to be followed in case of an emergency cease-fire. If an emergency cease-fire is called, the reason for such should be corrected, and then the match restarted with an additional three minutes added to the remaining time (if less than three minutes have elapsed before the emergency cease-fire, the clock should be reset to the original time duration).

This is at the Canyons Complex off Snow Canyon Parkway. Drive 6 passenger golf cart between parking lots and 7 playing fields. "Shuttle" athletes and others as needed. Great opportunity to socialize with athletes and positively represent our community. The last shift of the day is an estimated closing time, plan to stay until the last game finishes. This position is guaranteed to put a smile on your face as you interact with athletes, family and friends! Drivers need to be patient, safe and courteous. It would be ideal if volunteers could commit to more than one shift. Feel free to bring your own snacks if desired.

Restock and maintain 1 refreshment setup at the complex. There will be a table set with a tablecloth and fruit bowls and a sign placed by the fruit indicating that the fruit is for athletes only. This table will also serve as a medical location.
Requirements: Should be able to lift boxes of fruit from stack into a cart which you will use to transport fruit to refreshment stations. May want to bring a lawn chair. There will be some wait times.

Before the first match of the day, and on each relay, the Range Officer will explain the procedure that is in use at the Range to start and stop a match, including the procedures to be followed in case of an emergency cease-fire. If an emergency cease-fire is called, the reason for such should be corrected, and then the match restarted with an additional three minutes added to the remaining time (if less than three minutes have elapsed before the emergency cease-fire, the clock should be reset to the original time duration).

This is at the Canyons Complex off Snow Canyon Parkway. Drive 6 passenger golf cart between parking lots and 7 playing fields. "Shuttle" athletes and others as needed. Great opportunity to socialize with athletes and positively represent our community. The last shift of the day is an estimated closing time, plan to stay until the last game finishes. This position is guaranteed to put a smile on your face as you interact with athletes, family and friends! Drivers need to be patient, safe and courteous. It would be ideal if volunteers could commit to more than one shift. Feel free to bring your own snacks if desired.
