Celebrate Huntsman World Senior Games' founding principles: fostering worldwide peace, health, and friendship. Opening Ceremonies starts every year at 7:00 PM at the Burns Arena, Utah Tech University. In 2024, the evening included the Parade of Athletes, a rousing cultural performance from Siva Pasefika, and the traditional Flag Extravaganza. There will be music and fun activities before everyone lines up for the Parade of Athletes at 6:30 PM.

Every year we have a free concert featuring musical performers. In 2024, the event featured the biggest hits of ABBA, performed by BandAbba - The Ultimate Tribute to Abba. All the fun takes place in the Burns Arena on the Campus of Utah Tech University

From Wednesday to Friday each week during the Huntsman World Senior Games, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, join us at the Friendship Festival. A haven for athletes to enjoy music, games, food, and foster enduring bonds. More than a festivity, it's a communal celebration uniting the world through sport. Each athlete gets a dinner ticket to use at the food trucks at the festival.

Held every Sunday at the Dixie Convention Center, The John H. Morgan Endurance Awards is a special event that acknowledges the steadfast commitment of senior athletes who have dedicated 15 years and beyond to their sport, with honors bestowed at each five-year milestone. Initiated by a stirring bagpiper-led procession, this event goes beyond being just an awards ceremony—it's a tribute to the athletes' determination and spirit of competition. As an athlete, this tradition offers you the challenge and opportunity to attain these milestones, earn distinct awards such as unique watches, rings, letterman jackets, and more.

The Huntsman World Senior Games established the Hall of Fame to recognize athletes, volunteers, and Games staff and board who have made an exceptional contribution to the Games. In an effort to retain the integrity and credibility of this recognition, the Hall of Fame selection committee is very careful in its selection process. We wish to congratulate each and every inductee and thank them for their efforts. Without their determination, the Games would not be the same.
