Athlete fees would be much higher if it were not for the generous donations of the Huntsman Corporation. Each year the Huntsman's participate in the First Week Ceremonies where they personally welcome all the athletes, their family and friends and open the Games with the lighting of the torch.

Since the beginning of the Games, the St. George City Mayor and City Council recognized its value and provided generous donations of personnel and sports facilities. The tremendous support of the City of St. George is easily recognized by superb venues such as the Canyons Complex where thousands of softball players come to compete for two full weeks in the largest slow-pitch event in the nation. Scores of city venues are used during the Games to provide the very best experience for our athletes.
