All athletes must be 50 years old by December 31, 2020. Athlete’s competition age will be based on his/her age on December 31, 2020. Exception - athlete’s competition age for Track and Field and Powerwalk/Racewalk will be based on his/her age on October 12, 2020.
Partner and Team Age:
Partner and team age groups are determined by the age of the youngest partner / team member on December 31, 2020. In some cases a combined or average age of partners will be used (see individual sport pages).
Age Divisions: (unless otherwise stated on individual sport page)
Individuals / Partners: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+
Team Sports: 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+
Games officials reserve the right to cancel any event or combine age divisions due to insufficient entries.
It is recommended that participants confer with their personal physician prior to this competition. It is also recommended that participants prepare for competition and train accordingly.
The Huntsman World Senior Games will require its participants to provide the following documentation when participating at the Huntsman World Senior Games. 1) A valid photo identification card such as a driver's license, passport or green card that states the athlete's gender, OR 2) A copy of a valid in-force medical or health insurance policy that unequivocally states the athlete's gender. Birth certificates shall not be acceptable.
Teams: Online team registration will be available at seniorgames.net under ‘Register’ between January 1, 2020 and September 1, 2020.
Online Athlete and Official Fan registration will be available at seniorgames.net under ‘Register’ between March 1, 2020 and September 1, 2020.
Mail-In Athlete and Official Fan registration will be available between March 1, 2020 and September 1, 2020. Handbooks with Athlete and Official Fan registration forms will be mailed (during March) to everyone who either participated or requested information on the Games in the last three years.
Team Registration Fees:
Basketball: $100 (team fee only-team members must also register as individual athletes)
Soccer: $100 (team fee only-team members must also register as individual athletes)
Softball: $100 (team fee only-team members must also register as individual athletes)
Volleyball: $100 (team fee only-team members must also register as individual athletes)
Athlete and Official Fan Total Registration Fees:
Total Registration Fee = Registration Fee (below) + all applicable Sport Fees (on individual sport pages).
Early-Bird Athlete Registration Fee - $79 (postmarked by August 1)
Regular Athlete Registration Fee - $99 (postmarked between August 2 and September 1)
Early-Bird Official Fan Registration Fee - $49 (postmarked by August 1)
Regular Official Fan Registration Fee - $59 (postmarked between August 2 and September 1)
Registration Fee includes: Official Games Shirt, $10 Dinner Ticket, ID Badge, Welcome Bag, Refreshments at Sport Venues, Transportation between Hotel and Sport Venues, Training Room / Services at the Games Headquarters, Games' Handbook, Program and Results Book, and entry into the athlete's Sport Social, Opening Ceremonies, Concert & Celebration, Global Cup Tournament and Health Screenings.
Sport Fees include: Officials, Venue Fees, Sports Equipment and Scoresheets

Registering for Multiple Events:
Unless otherwise stated on a sport page, registration in multiple events is allowed. Several events are scheduled simultaneously and schedule changes will not be made to accommodate a multi-sport participant. No refunds will be made if athletes cannot participate in multiple events due to scheduling conflicts.
Registering Official Fans:
Official Fans will receive a Games shirt, $10 Dinner Ticket, admission to their “accompanying athlete’s” Sport Social, Health Screenings and will be allowed to participate in Walking Tours. Official Fans must be 21 years old. Registration of Official Fans is optional.
Confirmation of Entry:
Participants who register online will receive an immediate confirmation of their entry. Participants who enter by mail will receive a letter of confirmation by email (if an email address is provided) or by mail within three weeks after receipt of your entry forms. Call the Games office if you do not receive your confirmation or if any information on the confirmation is incorrect.
Refusal of Entry:
The Huntsman World Senior Games reserves the right to refuse entry to the Games to any individual for any reason.
All team registration fees are non-refundable. Individual refund requests must be in writing and postmarked by September 15, 2020. Refund requests received after this date and before the last day of competition of the 2020 Games will receive a coupon for the 2021 Games. A $25 processing fee will be assessed for all refunds. Registration fees are non-transferable. No refunds will be made due to cancellation of an event because of inclement weather. Refunds and coupons will be issued by the end of the current year.
