VENUE:
Redcliffs Rifle and Pistol Range at Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park
(One mile past the Washington County Legacy Park/Fairgrounds- 5850 West, 1800 South)
The Benchrest events will be held at the Red Cliffs Rifle and Pistol Range located in the Washington County Regional Park. The Range address is:
1044 S Shooting Sports Park Road, Hurricane, Utah 84737
From I-15 North of Saint George take Exit 16 to State Route 9 toward Hurricane City. At the intersection of SR 9 and 5300 West (DMV Office) turn right and follow the Regional Park Road past the Washington County fairgrounds until it comes to the range.

DIVISIONS:
Age brackets will be 5-year age groups to provide a reasonable level of competition at all levels.

Equipment Classification:
Rimfire rifles will fall into one of the following four classes:

Plinker ($620 MSRP, 6.5X Scope Max, 10 Lb. Max Rifle Wt., 2.0 Lb. Min
Trigger Pull) (5% over weight allowance)
Sporter ($850 MSRP, any X sight, 11.5 Lb. Max Rifle Wt., 1.5 Lb. Min Trigger Pull) (5% over weight allowance)
Factory Target (any X sight, 13.5 Lb. Max Rifle Wt., any Trigger Pull) (5% over weight allowance)
Custom (any X sight, Unlimited Rifle Wt., any Trigger Pull)

*The Plinker class is intended to provide competition for persons who are new to Benchrest shooting and are equipped with guns more commonly associated with small game hunting but is also open to anyone wishing to shoot 25 yards instead of 50 yards. The Plinker class is also open to anyone wanting to shoot any rifle that shoots a rimfire cartridge.
*Factory Target rifles will be those rifles that are non-modified factory rifles designed specifically for target shooting.
*Custom rifles will be those rifles that are custom made by a gunsmith or athlete that are comprised of special order/above average value parts.
*Empty chamber indicators will be required for all firearms whenever the firearm is not loaded and on the bench.

*MSRPs were determined valid at the time when this document was created, and the Director has the authority to re-evaluate them at the time of the actual matches/check-in.
*Official rifle weights and trigger pull weights will be determined at time of check-in using scales provided by RCRPR.
Centerfire rifles will fall within one of the two Classes:
Box Stock (Modern Sport Rifles and conventional hunting rifles) or Custom rifles.

Games officials reserve the right to cancel or modify any event or combine age divisions due to insufficient entries.

SPORT FEE: $30 Per Event

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
Early Bird Deadline (save $40) – August 1
Final Registration Deadline – September 1

REGISTRATION RULES:
•Participation is limited to the first 66 shooters for Rimfire and the first 44 shooters for Centerfire (TBD, but the number of RF shooters could increase to 72 and the number of CF shooters could increase to 48 before the start of the games).
• Participants are limited to one class of competition in both the Rimfire and Centerfire events.

FORMAT/RULES:
• Rulebook is posted above in the upper left-hand corner of this page. Please review it carefully since it has all the information needed to understand this venue.

MEDALS:
• Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three shooters of each age division and category, in each event
• An “Overall” medal will be awarded to the male and female shooters in RF and CF with the highest cumulative score of the tournament.
• Medals will be awarded following the respective match.

FRIENDSHIP FESTIVAL:
In an effort to fulfill our mission of fostering worldwide peace, health, and friendship, we are excited to announce that during the 37th year of the games, Huntsman will again host the Friendship Festival. We invite all athletes and their friends, volunteers, sponsors, and community members to join us for six nights of food, fun, entertainment, and friendship. The festival will provide flexibility for participants to attend at their convenience on any or all nights of what is sure to be a new favorite opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones regardless of your sport.
