Games officials reserve the right to cancel any event or combine age divisions due to insufficient entries.

REGISTRATION RULES:
• Participants must provide their valid World Handicap (WHS) Index and Membership Number on their registration form.
• Athletes may participate in the Golf by Age, Golf by Handicap event or both.
• Play will be based on the players Handicap Index as of September 1st. The WHS of the USGA will be used to verify handicaps. Players without a WHS handicap index must provide written proof of a valid handicap from a recognized golf course or organization. League handicaps will not be accepted as valid handicaps. Handicaps that are not calculated in the same manner as WHS handicaps will not be accepted. Players without valid handicaps are eligible for GROSS prizes only.
• Requests for specific foursomes or pairings will not be accepted.
• Golfers are also encouraged to sign up for the Golf Skills competition or the virtual Big Shots Golf competition.
FORMAT/RULES:
• All courses require soft spikes.
• Cart fees are included in the Sport Fee.
• All golfers must adhere to the local rules of the course at which they are playing. These rules could include “cart path only”, “90 degrees across all fairways” or other course specific rules. Denim jeans, designer jeans and jean shorts are not allowed.
• Players handicaps will be adjusted for exceptional tournament scoring if two or more Huntsman World Senior Games scores within the past 3 years result in a NET score of 5 or more below par.
• Players may be disqualified for un-sportsmanlike conduct.
• Only registered golfers are allowed on the course.
• Distance measuring devices are allowed so long as they do not measure other criteria such as but not limited to wind, slope, temperature and direction.
• Pace of play will be monitored during the tournament. Slow play will be warned and, if necessary, penalized.
• Course of play will be determined following the close of registration.
• Course of play and foursomes will be posted in the Sports Lounge at the Dixie Center (1835 Convention Center Drive, St. George).
• Participants must present their Huntsman World Senior Games ID Badge at their venue check-in desk 30 minutes prior to tee time.
Golf 1st (WEEK) session by Handicap Event
• Foursomes will be determined based on Handicap Index, regardless of age. There will be separate flights for Men and Women.
• 18 holes of golf played on each day (two days of play). For 90+ age they must play a minimum of 9 holes each day for medals, but can play up to 18 holes.
• This is a 36-Hole Gross and 36-Hole Net tournament, except for 90+ age groups.
Golf 2nd (WEEK) session by Age Event
• Flights will be determined based on players age as of December 31st of this year. There will be separate flights for Men and Women.
• 18 holes of golf will be played each day (2 days of play). For 90+ age they must play a minimum of 9 holes each day for medals, but can play up to 18 holes.
• This is a 36-Hole Gross and 36-Hole Net tournament, except for 90+ age groups.
• Each age bracket with more than 18 participating golfers will be separated into two divisions based on Handicap Index. Flights will be determined after the close of registration.
MEDALS:
In the Golf by Age event, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to golfers with the lowest gross and lowest net scores in each age and handicap division. Individuals may only win one award.
In the Golf by Handicap event, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to golfers with the lowest gross and net scores for men and the lowest gross and net scores for women.
