The opening ceremonies of the Huntsman World Senior Games capped off a tremendous day of competition while kicking off what looks to be the biggest Games ever. Thousands of athletes and community members filed into Trailblazer Stadium on the campus of Dixie State University to enjoy an island-vibe themed program. Siva Pacifica provided the entertainment during the athlete march and the reggae inspired "Have It All" by Jason Mraz acted as theme.

Bestselling author and hall of fame speaker Dan Clark provided the inspiration along with a touching tribute to Jon Huntsman Sr., principal sponsor of the Games, who passed away earlier this year. An inspiring cauldron lighting and a huge fireworks display capped off the night.
