On Sunday, October 15, over 1,500 athletes checked-in at the Dixie Convention Center including the athletes from Bowling. Well over 80% of Huntsman World Senior Games athletes have come through the doors and received their ID badge and athlete shirts.

The Global Cup also kicks off in the morning with Team USA and Brazil on court 1 in the Dixie Center and Canada and Costa Rica on court 2. With only one team invited per country into this prestigious tournament, these women play a high level of volleyball. Athletes as well as the community are encouraged to plan to attend the Concert & Celebration which takes place on Tuesday, October 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the Dixie State Burns Arena.  The show features a tribute to the great performers known collectively as the Rat Pack. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy the music of Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr and Frank Sinatra. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the show is free for everyone.
