The competition on Monday, October 16, was keen with a new week and several new sports getting underway. One of the most popular sports at the Games, pickleball, began with a bang. Horseshoes, mountain biking, and shooting-benchrest also got things rolling along with several other sports.

The Global Cup – World Senior Volleyball Championships also got underway with pool play for the national teams from Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica and USA. Schedules and real time results for the tournament can be accessed on the Global Cup website. Once the competition was complete the teams relaxed with an unforgettable trip to Zion National Park.

Tuesday is also the Concert & Celebration featuring a tribute to the Rat Pack. Don’t miss the music and entertainment of Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. The show is absolutely free to everyone and starts at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. at the Dixie State University Burns Arena.
