On Thursday, March 4, 2021, the employee wellness program established by the  Huntsman World Senior Games was recognized for excellence by the Utah Workplace Wellness Council. The award is given to organizations based on how well their wellness program meets employee needs in the following areas:

  • Mental Health
  • Financial Health
  • Social Health
  • Physical Health
  • Nutrition
  • Physical Activity
  • Stress Management
  • Diabetes Management
  • COVID-19

"We've worked hard to create a wellness program that helped us live well, but was also sustainable, accessible and honestly, fun," said Games CEO, Kyle M Case. "We built it together and after four years, we're still going strong."

Case says one of the most compelling elements of the plan is the collaborative and the competitive elements. "We've found a way to work together for common goals, but compete for individual prizes and recognition. Everyone seems to really enjoy it."

The Games is one of a handful of Utah companies to have its wellness program recognized.

The Utah Workplace Wellness Council is a partnership of organizations with the singular purpose of learning how to build effective worksite wellness programs and methods that lead to sustainable lifestyle change for employees.
