Dear Everyone,
An event like the Huntsman World Senior Games is an incredible undertaking to say the least. Once an event like this is over, it’s necessary to take a moment to put things away, pack things up and inventory what we’ve got. Once that is done, we at the Games heave a collective sigh and begin the cycle again for next year.
But before we get too far into next year’s planning, I have to take a moment and say THANK YOU.
Thank you to the sponsors who, especially in these challenging times, continued to support, through financial means, the vision behind these Games.
Thank you to the volunteers who so willingly provide time, talent, expertise and smiles. Without you, the Games simply would not happen.
Thank you to the Staff whose dedication is incredible. Long hours, late nights, lots of laughs and a few head scratching moments later, we’ve done it yet again. Congratulations on a wonderful event.
Thank you to the community of St. George who’s people and businesses open their arms and their hearts to the thousands of incredible athletes who make the journey each year to participate in the Games.
And thank you to each athlete who trained and practiced, traveled from far or near, shot, hit, ran, swam or bowled, sacrificed and saved and spent their hard earned money to be apart of this event. With out you, there is no Huntsman World Senior Games.
